OSHKOSH, Wis. — April 24, 2009 — Oshkosh Defense, a division of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK), has received a delivery order from the Marine Corps System Command (MARCORSYSCOM) for 30 Logistics Vehicle System Replacements (LVSR).

The delivery order is worth more than $11 million. The LVSR variant produced under this delivery order will be the cargo truck. The delivery order was issued under an existing Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract with MARCORSYSCOM awarded to Oshkosh in 2006 for up to 1,700 LVSRs.

The Oshkosh LVSR will be used by the U.S. Marine Corps for the on- and off-road transportation of heavy payloads, such as munitions, fuel, water and heavy equipment. The vehicle is equipped with Oshkosh’s patented TAK-4® independent suspension system for superior off-road mobility in the most severe environments. The LVSR comes in three variants – cargo, wrecker and fifth-wheel – and features an on-road payload capacity of 22.5 tons and an off-road payload capacity of 16.5 tons.
