Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM)

Oshkosh Defense develops on schedule, configuration aligned, MIL-STD web-based Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)  – including installation instructions, operator, RPSTL, maintenance, troubleshooting and NMWR level technical manuals. They look and act just like web documents, with digital photos, digital movies and audio clips to help explain tasks. IETMs, which can be created for Oshkosh^® vehicles as well as other manufacturers’ vehicles, are specifically designed to save mechanics’ time, directly reading diagnostic data from vehicle sensors and automatically taking the user through the appropriate tests and diagnostics. IETMs include drawings, operating instructions, troubleshooting, maintenance procedures and schematics, RPSTL data (parts list and art) and Point-To-Point (PTP) enhanced vehicle schematics, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
