The mobility and survivability features of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) have been revolutionized with the Oshkosh Defense^® FMTV Enhanced Protection & Mobility Demonstrator (EPMD).

Equipped with the patented TAK-4^® independent suspension system, the FMTV EPMD enhances mobility over rough terrain, allowing for more weight on the front and back axles. This provides the ability to retrofit FMTVs with an Underbody Improvement Kit (UIK) for enhanced safety and protection. Available in kit form and backed with over 6,000 miles of durability testing, the FMTV EPMD is the innovative, proven, exceptionally mobile solution for greater survivability in off-road situations.
